1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system).
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the equipment in action! |
3. On the V6 models uncover access the top part of the power unit (see the Head Dvigatel).
4. Disconnect vacuum and fuel hoses from pressure regulator.

5. Remove pressure regulator from assembly of the fuel highway:
a) On 4-cylinder engines the regulator fastens to the highway fixing bolts; |

b) On V6 engines the reversing of the regulator will require a rozhkovy key. |
6. Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace a sealing ring which before installation should be oiled slightly pure motive. You make delay in fixture/assembly of the regulator with the required effort.
7. Check the engine for existence of signs of leak of fuel. |
