Adjustment of a pedal of coupling

Pedal height

Height of provision of a pedal is called the distance from its slip to the floor panel. If the result of measurement of this distance exceeds the limit of admissible range, it is necessary to make the corresponding adjustment.

For adjustment of provision of a pedal weaken a lock-nut of the sensor switch of coupling or an adjusting bolt and turn out the switch so that it ceased to adjoin to a pedal. Now weaken a lock-nut of a pusher and, rotating the last, correct in a required way height of provision of a pedal. Tighten a lock-nut.

The coupling sensor switch - lower of two nearby with each other (the top block the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter is).

Rotating a sensor switch/bolt clockwise, bring it into contact with the pedal lever, then tighten on 3/4 turn/turn. Tighten a lock-nut.
Adjust the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter (see the Section Check of a State, replacement and adjustment of the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter).

Free wheeling of a pedal

Free wheeling is called the distance to which the pedal moves, without encountering resistance and without causing coupling operation. At an exit of size of a free wheeling of a pedal out of limits of admissible range it is necessary to make the corresponding adjustment.

For adjustment of a free wheeling weaken a lock-nut on a pedal pusher, then, rotating a pusher, achieve the required result. Tighten a lock-nut.
