Removal, check of a state and installation of assembly of yokes

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Uncover a head of cylinders (see the Section Removal and installation of covers of heads of cylinders).
2. Bring the piston of the first cylinder into the provision of VMT (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in the provision of the top dead point (TDP)), take off a gas-distributing belt (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of the GRM drive).

3. Weaken on 1/4 turns bolts of fastening of an axis of yokes (for easing of the effort developed by valvate springs), - act as it should be, the return shown on an illustration.

4. Take assembly of an axis with yokes from a head of cylinders. Do not turn out fixing bolts finally for the purpose of fixing of components of assembly on an axis.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having removed assembly of yokes, it will be reasonable to investigate it for the purpose of more detailed studying of a condition of components. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from axes of a yoke and a spring. It will be reasonable to mark previously the provision of an axis in relation to covers of bearings.

It will be reasonable to fasten yokes of primary and secondary inlet valves with rubber bandages. Try to put the removed components as their installation as at assembly they have to be put strictly on the former places.

2. Carefully clear components and check them for existence of signs of wear and mechanical damages. Estimate a condition of the surfaces of yokes contacting to the camshaft, estimate degree of wear and freedom of rotation of rollers. Check for existence of zadir and signs of excessive wear of a surface of landing of yokes on axes, and also walls of landing openings of yokes. Defective components are subject to replacement. Make sure of passability of maslotok in axes.

3. Take from the landing nests in a head of cylinders proofreaders of valvate gaps and carefully clean them. Fingers check freedom of the course of plungers.
4. Check freedom of the course of the synchronizing pistons in assemblies of the drive of inlet valves.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Oil all components pure motive and establish them on the regular places on an axis of yokes.

Pay attention to the marking distinguishing left-side components from right-hand.

2. Grease with special lubricant for camshafts working surfaces of yokes. Put the removed components on an axis, then install assembly on the engine.

3. In strictly certain order in stages (with a small step) tighten bolts of fastening of assembly of yokes with the required effort.

4. Installation of the remained components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle.
5. In conclusion do not forget to make adjustment of valvate gaps (if in it there is a need) (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance).
6. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of leak of oil and serviceability of functioning.
